The candidate will carry out the following typical tasks:
Conduct thorough competitive patent and non-patent literature research, including state-of-the-art and landscape analysis. Perform rigorous technical investigations within specialized technology fields to generate actionable IP intelligence.

Analyze competitive patent and non-patent literature to provide insight into a given field of product/technology and landscape research, state-of-the-art research.
Patent Portfolio Analysis and SWOT. Industry and competition benchmarking on technology and IP
Generate innovation and strategy insights through patent research on industry IP holdings and players' relevant product/solution activities.
Periodic Publication of insights for the business and R&D community.
Prepare IP/Patent Due diligence studies for given business scenarios.
SKILLS
Ability to interpret IP signals in the right business context (e.g., "If we do X, here is the implication").
Proficiency in data visualization for clear articulation of insights.
Strong research and analytical skills, with a focus on "so-what" synthesis.
Excellent command of the English language and ability to communicate concisely both orally and in writing.

Understanding of drivers of digital technologies and businesses. A strong grasp of business strategies and knowledge of competitive advantages are desirable.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering/Technology discipline or a Master's in a related Science from a reputed institute/university.
At least 4 years of substantive experience in handling IP intelligence and insight creation in a reputed consulting firm or in-house department.
