Job Description

We're looking for a Technology Analyst & Test Lead to establish and lead our testing capability while driving high-quality analysis across technology projects and strategic initiatives. You'll lead testing governance, quality assurance and release readiness while also partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes and ensure technology solutions meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Building and leading Zelora's Testing Capability

  • Develop and implement Zelora's testing strategy, standards, governance and quality frameworks
  • Establish scalable testing processes, templates, repositories and ways of working
  • Introduce quality gates, risk-based testing approaches, metrics and reporting
  • Lead and mentor testing capability across internal teams and external delivery partners

Driving Testing and Release Delivery

  • Develop end-to-end test plans, schedules, estimates and testing approaches across multiple initiatives
  • Coordinate functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, smoke, sanity and operational readiness testing
  • Manage testing risks, dependencies, environments and release readiness activities
  • Ensure traceability, testing coverage and quality outcomes are achieved prior to deployment

Championing Quality and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and lead defect management processes, triage and quality reporting
  • Analyse quality trends and identify opportunities to improve delivery outcomes
  • Build reusable testing assets, templates and test repositories
  • Identify opportunities to introduce automation and improve testing efficiency
  • Maintain quality metrics, testing dashboards and release readiness controls

Leading Technology Analysis

  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with technology stakeholders
  • Document business, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Develop business requirements documents, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Produce process maps and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support solution design and ensure requirements are fully traceable throughout delivery
  • Partner with business teams to coordinate UAT and operational acceptance activities

Building Strong Business Partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with technology, project and business leaders
  • Partner with vendors, implementation partners and external solution providers
  • Provide clear communication on testing progress, risks, dependencies and quality outcomes

Qualifications

You are an experienced testing and quality professional with strong business analysis skills and a passion for improving how technology is delivered.

You bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in software testing, quality assurance and technology delivery environments
  • Demonstrated experience establishing or maturing testing practices, governance frameworks and quality processes
  • Strong Technical Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, workshops and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience delivering testing across Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Exposure to transformation programs, SaaS platforms, cloud solutions, ERP, CRM and integration projects
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, defect management, risk management and quality assurance principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and drive outcomes
  • A hands-on, pragmatic and continuous improvement mindset

 

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with test management platforms and test automation frameworks
  • Experience implementing testing governance within a growing or evolving organisation
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery and testing tools
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CBAP, CCBA or Agile certifications
