Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Writer to support an Investment Banking client by creating, maintaining, and updating technical and operational documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation while working onsite at the client's US office.
Key Responsibilities
Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, including system guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, knowledge articles, and process documentation.
Work with technical teams to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
Document infrastructure, application, and operational processes.
Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and complies with client documentation standards.
Update existing documentation based on system changes and project requirements.
Support project teams by preparing implementation guides, release notes, and training materials.
Maintain document repositories and version control.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
Required Skills
8 - 10 years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT or enterprise environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, and operational manuals.
Ability to understand technical concepts related to infrastructure, applications, and IT operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience supporting Banking, Financial Services, or Investment Banking clients is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ITIL processes, or SDLC documentation is an added advantage.
Work Location
Onsite at the US client location (No remote work).
Willingness to work from the client's office and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.
