What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Learn how modern technical information delivery systems are organized

  • Work with the Toro technical writing team to develop new materials

  • Review and edit both text-based and graphic-based materials

  • Review existing materials on actual machinery for clarity and accuracy

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • Majoring in Technical Communications from an accredited university.

  • Completed junior-level courses preferred.

  • Ability to stay organized and able to use Microsoft Office, Arbortext, and common graphics programs without much direction.

  • Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and effectively communicate in a team setting while achieving a common goal.

  • Experience with step-by-step instruction development, understanding of basic industrial machine functions (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic), graphic arts is preferred.

  • Competitive Pay – Competitive compensation with an anticipated hourly rate of $20–$24. Actual rates may vary based on factors such as academic standing, business function, and other relevant considerations.
