We are currently recruiting for an Application Technical Trainer to join the Global TrakCare Learning Services team. Working within an experienced team of Application Trainers the successful candidate will be designing, developing, and delivering TrakCare instructor-led and online training courses. The main focus for this position is Clinical and Patient Administration Systems training, and therefore the successful candidate must have a clinical or Healthcare Information Systems background.

Responsibilities:

  • Using clinical and/or health informatics domain knowledge and experience, design training content specifically for TrakCare.
  • Develop and maintain TrakCare training materials for classroom delivery, eLearning modules and assessments.
  • Deliver training courses, in classroom and virtually.
  • Perform training course evaluations and participant assessments to ensure high quality and effective training.
  • Continually evaluate and update training courses to help improve delivery and content.

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Healthcare background essential.
  • Current or previous TrakCare experience – preferred.
  • Previous Clinical Information Systems experience essential.
  • Training and Assessment certification or 5 years’ experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Have a patient and friendly approach to teaching
  • The ability to travel to regional InterSystems offices to deliver training as needed
