Wealth.com is hiring a Technical Support Specialist as we are pre product launch and growing like crazy. We are looking to add someone to our support team. This would be a fully remote position and reports to our VP of Security. You would be responsible for deploying work remote solutions to our employees based all over the world. You would also provision and install appropriate software that all our new hires would need before they start and work to ship them their new equipment. The Technical Support Specialist will also support Wealth.com employees with any technical related issues that they may have within their day to day.
Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is eager and ready to learn new technologies. This position is a hybrid schedule, going 3 days a week in our Tempe, Arizona office.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an inventory of installed software, managing software licensing, and creating policies and procedures for upgrades
- Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization
- Create user accounts and manage access control based on company policies
- Maintain, analyze, and repair hardware and software systems
- Respond to tickets in Jira, and troubleshoot and resolve problems on time
- Support and enforce information technology (IT) policies
- Set up and configure new systems (Mac and PC), applications, and upgrades
- Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groups
- Document standard procedures and processes
- Partner with HR and Security for onboarding of new employees
- Work with laptop vendors to order new laptops as needed
- Help Wealth.com employees with any technical issues
- Train end-users on best practices for using various IT systems, software, and devices.
- Provide support for office equipment (printers, scanners, and other peripherals), ensuring that all devices are functioning optimally and resolving any technical problems.
- Write and maintain basic scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience supporting hardware and software applications
- Experience with laptop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience, troubleshooting, both Mac and Windows operating system
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace
- Scripting knowledge: bash/python/powershell or other languages
- Experience with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs, and familiarity with network hardware such as routers and switches.
