We are looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join our on-site support team, focusing on SCADA monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting of automation systems for Material Handling Equipment (MHE). You'll support PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff), VFDs, communication networks (ProfiNet®), and related infrastructure to ensure high system uptime.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the Control Room’s SCADA subject-matter expert
- Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, Profinet® networks, and control-system hardware
- Monitor system performance and diagnose real-time operational issues
- Provide remote support for fault-finding with Maintenance and Engineering teams
- Escalate complex incidents and maintain clear, accurate documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability and performance
- Adhere to all HSE, quality, and technical compliance requirements
What You Bring:
- 3–4 years in industrial automation or controls support
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff), and VFDs
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and industrial networks
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Willingness to work shifts and support additional sites if needed
