Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Continuous Integration (CI) team. The role focuses on designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that enable efficient, reliable, and scalable software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with automation, Linux systems, containerization, monitoring tools, and CI infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to improve development productivity.
  • Manage and maintain source code repositories using Bitbucket.
  • Create, manage, and optimize Docker images and containerized environments.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain Virtual Machines supporting CI infrastructure.
  • Work extensively within Linux environments for administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
  • Integrate and manage monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system and pipeline health.
  • Monitor CI infrastructure performance and optimize build execution times.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, build issues, and environment inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and release teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
  • Implement security checks, access control, and compliance standards within CI pipelines.
  • Maintain build artifacts, dependency management, and version control best practices.
  • Support release engineering processes and assist in deployment automation.
  • Document CI/CD architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of CI systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or CI/CD infrastructure roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline development.
  • Experience with Bitbucket for source code management and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Experience managing and supporting Virtual Machine environments.
  • Strong experience working with Linux systems (administration, scripting, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Nagios, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience troubleshooting build systems and CI infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with PHP-based web technologies and application environments.
  • Understanding of PHP application deployment and CI/CD integration for PHP projects.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of artifact repositories such as Nexus or Artifactory.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8-14 years of experience developing and maintaining storage drivers
  • Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals, VMware ESXi, or Windows kernel internals
  • Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Extensive experience with storage protocols such as SCSI, NVMe, PCIe, SAS/SATA
  • Proven ability to optimize driver performance
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience contributing to open-source storage projects or Linux kernel (for Linux driver engineers)
  • Deep understanding of VMware storage virtualization (for VMware driver engineers)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows storage virtualization (for Windows driver engineers)
