The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highly complex technical tasks required to assure the successful implementation of TrakCare and HealthShare solutions across the UK landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates experienced in InterSystems technology stack or for highly experienced integration experts with substantial NHS and healthcare technology experience.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with client, solution architect or business analyst in regard to on-going enhancement requests
- Provide technical analysis of product enhancements as to viability, risk and estimations of development times
- Advise and assist Project Managers during implementation
- Manage the resolution of any outstanding acceptance issues before and after project go-live. Provide mentoring to future members of the technical implementation team
- Develop and provide technical support for software customisation on the TrakCare and HealthShare platforms
- Be required at times to work cross platform
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis for related areas
- Support and testing of all healthcare related deliverables
- Participate in deliverable peer reviews to ensure coding standards are met, and quality is of the highest possible level
- Production of training materials for technical courses in TrakCare and HealthShare deliverables as required – essential for knowledge handover sessions and team training
- Production of technical documentation such as reference materials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge-base articles, and specifications
- Responsible for participating in on-site technical training
- Responsible for participating in on-site technical implementations
- Responsible for participating in the 24 hour extended support service if required
Qualifications
- Experience of using Integration Engines
- Knowledge of web oriented languages, including HTML, and Java script - Advantageous not essential
- Experience with SQL, data analysis and database methodologies - - Advantageous not essential
- Ability to design and write technical documents
- Well versed in Internet / Intranet concepts
- Experienced in client-focused interaction
- Proven ability to lead and deliver results as required within specific time frames.
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to flex working hours and travel to customer sites.
- Passion for learning new technologies and applications
- Previous experience of working with integration platforms
- HL7 programming experience
- Demonstrable extensive NHS/healthcare technology domain experience
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) standards and best practices
