Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to work in a hybrid schedule in our Arlington, VA office.
The Solution Architect is a highly consultative, client-facing position focused on engineering custom business applications, data visualizations, and automation workflows directly for federal clients, mission owners, and mission partners.
This is not an internal IT support or help desk role. This individual will operate on the front lines of delivery, sitting side-by-side with diverse government stakeholders and subject matter experts. The primary objective is to independently diagnose operational friction points, translate mission needs into technical requirements, and build tailored solutions using the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365). Strong consulting acumen and a project management mindset are critical to managing client expectations and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Consultation & Discovery: Sit directly with federal clients and stakeholders to run discovery sessions, conduct user research, map complex business processes, and translate operational pain points into clear technical blueprints.
- Custom Application Engineering (Power Apps & Dynamics 365): Design and deploy low-code/no-code custom applications and tailored case-management workflows to replace manual client tracking systems, maximizing operational impact across user communities.
- Mission Analytics & Data Visualization (Power BI): Architect, build, and maintain dynamic enterprise dashboards and data models (using DAX/Power Query) to help federal leadership monitor program metrics and visualize partner-shared information.
- Process Automation (Power Automate): Proactively identify manual administrative workloads within the client environment and engineer repeatable, automated workflows to optimize staff efficiency and data exchange.
- Collaboration Architecture (SharePoint & Teams): Restructure and secure client SharePoint repositories and integrated Microsoft Teams environments to enhance communication, document delivery methods, and mission knowledge management.
- Client-Facing Project Management: Take independent ownership of the solution lifecycle. Manage client request backlogs, define technical milestones, and proactively communicate progress and delivery timelines to government stakeholders.
- Adoption & Training Delivery: Support creation of user-facing documentation, step-by-step work instructions, and deliver technical walkthroughs directly to federal operators to ensure high operational uptake and seamless adoption of newly deployed solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain/maintain DHS Public Trust Suitability (EOD)
- Experience: 4–7+ years of professional experience in technical consulting, systems analysis, or solution development, with a strict focus on client-facing delivery within the Microsoft 365 cloud environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Power BI: Strong capability in DAX modeling, data shaping, and designing intuitive enterprise dashboards.
- Power Apps & Power Automate: Proven experience building canvas/model-driven apps and complex, multi-stage automated workflows.
- SharePoint & Teams: Expertise in document management architectures, custom permissions, and application integrations.
- Dynamics 365: Foundational understanding of CRM customization and configuration.
- Consultative Capabilities: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing client relationships, navigating ambiguous stakeholder requirements, and running discovery meetings independently.
