Inside the Role
The Detroit Technical Services Project Coordinator position will support the Technical Services department with strategic department initiatives and projects, as well as daily ad-hoc challenges. This individual will report to the Technical Services Director and will work as a key member of the team. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and will have a continuous improvement mindset when it comes to tracking, displaying, and reporting out critical information. Must be able to juggle multiple requests/demands, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.Posting Information

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000 – $133,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
General Business Coordination:
Stringent monitoring of major operational and strategical tasks.
Provides daily review of department performance – Dept, KPI’s, MTTR, MTBF, Overtime
Assists L4 Managers with daily tasks when required within TT/ODS
Preparing/Providing of monthly KPI report and pointing out of required actions to define PPS initiatives.
Assists with coordination of department internships.
Assists with head count tracking for both hourly and salary employees.
Preparation and updating of data (production data/program data) as well as presentations (town hall meeting / department presentations, off-site meetings, etc.).
Coordinating topics for and preparing regular meetings (Plant Senior Management / Plant Committee Meeting / weekly Director Staff Meetings).
Continuous Improvement:
Responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and tracking of departments TOS Blue Sky initiatives.
Responsible for development of future TS Strategy and TOS Blue sky initiatives.
Responsible for cooperation and collaboration with digitalization initiatives.
Responsible for leading Technical Services cost saving initiatives.
Project Management:
Preparation & organization of essential projects/reorganization actions/workshops.
Responsible for tracking L4 and Project tactical implementation plans (TIP).
Leads cost saving and organizational repositioning programs.
Knowledge You Should Bring
BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required
Analytical skills to evaluate business + technical problems, develop countermeasures and convey them in high-level presentations
Knowledge in LEAN and PPS required
Well-versed in IT software with focus on Excel /PowerPoint.
