Responsibilities
- Participate in discovery sessions with external clients to evaluate their unique submetering and utility cost allocation needs
- Review electrical and mechanical drawings to develop an understanding of utility distribution and mechanical systems serving our clients properties
- Transform your understanding of the distribution/systems into a technical submetering and/or reporting solution that addresses the client’s specific needs
- Select & size the appropriate submetering hardware solutions based on the technical requirements you developed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure your solutions are aligned with, and can be supported by other business units
- Effectively communicate your solutions to internal and external stakeholders to drive projects out of the design phase and into the execution phase
- Implement your solutions through effective project management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively manage your time and deliver results on multiple projects at the same time
- Any other tasks to support various business needs
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree from a recognized University
- New Grads are welcome to apply
- 1-5 years of experience
- Possess excellent planning, organization, and communication skills
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems found within high-rise buildings is considered an asset
- Experience with the submetering industry is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with energy management and/or energy consulting is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- A Valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
Other Details:
- Working with clients in their electrical and mechanical rooms
- Travel within the GTA and surrounding areas, as required
- Occasional travel out of Province
- Occasional overtime
- Flexibility to work from the office at least twice per week
