Technical Sales Specialist responsible for providing engineering drawings, technical and application support for Thermal Products and Data Centre solutions. The role supports Sales Account Managers with site surveys, cost estimates, proposals, and quotations, while enabling consultants on Vertiv solutions and increasing market awareness of Vertiv products.
Job Description
- Provide engineering drawings and overall technical and application support to the company business requirement.
- Key person responsible for Thermal Products technical support and solutions
- Assist the Sales Account Manager to do site survey, cost estimate, prepare technical proposal, and quotations.
- To provide enablement to Data Centre Consultants Design on Vertiv product solution.
- Provide technical support to Sales Account Manager.
- To increase the market awareness of Vertiv products.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of AutoCAD layout drawings, engineering, technical and application support including CFD simulation.
- Make Vertiv customers preferred choice and as trusted business partner by delivering quality design and services on time.
- To increase the capabilities of Vertiv in the market for technical solutions of Data Centre.
- Assist the Sales Account Manager to do the engineering design and solutions, cost estimation, prepare technical submission, budgetary quotations, and quotations.
- Maintain the drawings (soft / hard copies), catalogues, white papers, application and technical reference materials to ensure that they are updated, orderly and readily accessible.
- Cultivate a work approach of pro-activeness, keeping up to date the knowledge and application of company products / services and other related services, while continually pursue self / personal development by self-analysis, reading, benchmarking against the best in the industry and practice.
- To do presentation on Vertiv solutions and products to customers, partners & consultants.
Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Technology.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Liquid Cooling System, HVAC or Chiller System, preferably with data center experience.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- Understand electrical systems, appropriate codes, and mechanical standards
- Basic to advanced AutoCAD proficiency, Microsoft office suite, and basic windows environment
- Must speak fluent English language.
- Working knowledge of 3 years in mechanical systems such as Liquid Cooling System, HVAC Control or Chiller System
- Ability to diagnose mechanical systems and controls diagram
- Attend customer meeting presenting control solution and provide technical clarification
- Field experience in installation, testing & PID tuning of HVAC equipment.

Skills Required
