As a
Technical Sales Representative, your primary mission is to drive growth by
identifying and securing new business opportunities. You won't just be selling
equipment; you will be delivering tailored material-handling solutions that
solve operational challenges for clients. Your role will be to manage the full
sales lifecycle, from cold prospecting and technical demonstrations to
after-sales support and account optimisation.
- Identify, qualify, and engage high-potential
customers within your territory to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct in-depth cost-benefit analyses and
technical product demonstrations to showcase the value of the company’s
portfolio.
- Build strong rapport with key stakeholders and
end-users to influence purchasing decisions and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, ensuring
the CRM and sales pipeline are meticulously updated.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and sales
contributions, implementing corrective actions to maximize gross profit.
- Resolve customer issues with urgency, implementing
action plans that ensure long-term satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- Continuously upskill in the company’s evolving
product range to act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with service and rental teams to ensure
equipment availability and seamless delivery.
- Forecast stock requirements based on market trends
and manage warranty claims, repairs, and maintenance follow-ups.
- Work closely with internal departments to manage
risk accounts and protect company assets.
