Technical Sales Representative – Metal Pre-treatment (Hungary)

• Support customers directly by visiting their production sites, identifying technical challenges, and offering tailored surface treatment solutions.

• Respond quickly to technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and stabilize chemical processes in close cooperation with customer teams.

• Guide customers in adjusting and optimizing chemical applications for cost efficiency, quality, and reliability in production.

• Introduce innovations by identifying opportunities to implement new products and technologies that add value to existing operations.

• Work hands-on in customer environments where production runs 24/7, providing reliable support and continuous improvement suggestions.

• Communicate openly with customer stakeholders to plan improvements, solve problems, and translate technical findings into actionable steps.

• Collaborate regionally with colleagues and partners across Hungary, Slovakia, and Slovenia, balancing field visits with home-office flexibility.

• Education: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: Background in technical support, application engineering, or customer-facing roles within industrial chemistry or surface treatment.

• Technical Skills: Comfortable with chemical analysis, process optimization, and interpreting data in real-world production settings.

• Customer Focus: Confident working on-site with production teams, able to adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Languages: Fluent in Hungarian and English; Slovak or Slovenian is a plus.

• Travel Ready: Open to regular travel within Hungary and neighboring countries; valid driver’s license required.

• Problem Solver: Methodical, independent thinker who thrives on solving customer challenges with a hands-on approach.
