What You'll Do

As a Technical Sales Representative, Feed Additives & Premix, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and sales teams, helping drive business growth through specialized product knowledge and industry expertise. You will work closely with producers, nutritionists, and commercial livestock operations, providing technical support, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions that deliver value.

You will:

  • Provide technical support and consultation to customers and sales professionals.
  • Conduct farm visits and work directly with customers in the animal production industry.
  • Interpret field data and provide recommendations related to nutrition, production, housing, transport, and equipment.
  • Support sales activities by identifying customer needs and developing value-based solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, customer training, and educational programs.
  • Assist with product trials, implementation, and technical problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Contribute to process improvements, customer communications, and industry outreach activities.
  • Maintain technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development.

You'll Also Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant technical sales, nutrition, or livestock industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of feed additives, premixes, nutrition programs, and animal production systems.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify customer needs, and develop value-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence customers and build long-term business relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for delivering results and supporting customer success.
