Job OverviewThis role is essential for managing T-Mobile's enterprise AI assistant for employees as a technical product that meets specific business objectives and employee needs. The assistant takes each request and connects it to the right capability, whether that's a specialized agent, tool, or workflow. The role owns the product lifecycle, including vision, strategy, capability onboarding, the places employees reach the assistant, and collaboration with business owners, platform teams, and the operations team that runs it. It requires balancing employee insights, technical feasibility, cost per interaction, and business goals to prioritize and deliver features effectively, while keeping the product ready for fast-moving advances in AI. Success is measured by product performance, answer and routing accuracy, cost per interaction, and employee satisfaction. The work gives employees one place to get AI help and enables cross-functional teams to deliver capabilities that reach them through it, now and as the technology evolves.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business and technical goals, including which capabilities and entry points the assistant supports
- Evaluate emerging AI models, patterns, and platform advances, and shape the roadmap so the product adapts without disrupting employees
- Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions, using data on usage, resolution quality, and cost per interaction
- Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories, managing the product backlog to support distributed Agile development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely delivery, including partner teams onboarding new capabilities
- Monitor product performance and quality in production, addressing defects and driving continuous improvement, as the primary business-hours contact for the operations team that runs the assistant
- Partner with security, privacy, and governance teams to keep the product aligned with responsible AI practices as requirements change
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience (Required)
- 3+ years experience in a hands-on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in a large-scale company, application or product environment (Required)
- 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment (Required)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience owning an AI assistant, chatbot or conversational product used at enterprise scale (Preferred)
- Experience bringing integrations, agents, or other capabilities owned by other teams onto a shared platform, with clear acceptance criteria (Preferred)
- Experience working with a distributed or follow-the-sun operations team (Preferred)
- Experience managing usage-based cost for an AI or cloud product (Preferred)
- Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability with new AI technologies and a track record of applying them to product decisions (Preferred)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $118,910 - $214,360National Base Pay Range: $103,400 - $186,400
