Technical Sales Representative for Characterisation– Central Vietnam

Anton Paar, a leading provider of high-precision measuring instruments and services, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as Technical Sales Representative for Characterisation Instruments. You will serve as the primary contact for our customers, supporting them throughout the entire sales process with technical and application-oriented expertise.

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for direct sales of Anton Paar equipment across the Central Vietnam territory.

Location: The role can be based either at the Anton Paar Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City or remotely/home-based in Central Vietnam, preferably in Da Nang, Hue, the Quang Nam area, or nearby provinces, with frequent travel across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Drive direct sales of Anton Paar's analytical and synthesis chemistry instruments and particle characterization product, including related solutions and services.
• Manage existing customer accounts and generate new business opportunities through effective prospecting and territory management.
• Actively build and develop the Central Vietnam territory, including customer database development, new customer acquisition, and identification of new markets and applications to expand business growth.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and provide application-oriented consultation.
• Support basic instrument commissioning/handover and customer training where appropriate.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective CRM management, quotation follow-up, and accurate sales forecasting.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate Anton Paar's value proposition to achieve sales targets and long-term customer satisfaction.

• Education in Chemistry, Material science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or another related discipline. 
• Several years of experience in technical sales, analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, or process instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience with microwave digestion/synthesis systems and/or particle size analysis instruments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, and able to independently build and develop a growing territory while working effectively within a team.
• Know-how in diversity of industries is a plus.
• High mobility and willingness to travel extensively within Central Vietnam.
