At Syntegon, we innovate packaging solutions for the pharma and food industries, co-creating value with partners across the entire product lifecycle. For our Business Unit Food (Weert site) we are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Manager to drive global VFFS project sales and turn customer needs into seamless technical‑commercial solutions.
Your responsibility

- Serve as the central contact for regional sales, production and customers throughout the Lead‑to‑Order process.
- Translate customer requirements into end‑to‑end solutions combining site expertise and equipment.
- Improve win rates and reduce project risk through market and application knowledge.
Promote VFFS innovations and sales tools to empower front‑line regional teams.

- Collect market intelligence and define go‑to‑market strategies for the existing machine portfolio.
- Initiate and drive development of sales tools and application‑based innovations.
Your profile
You are commercially driven with strong technical affinity and proven international project‑sales experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with commercial training, or a commercial degree with demonstrable engineering affinity.
- 5–10 years’ experience in international B2B project sales, ideally in packaging or capital equipment.
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages (German, French, Spanish or Dutch) are a plus.
- Highly customer‑oriented, entrepreneurial and willing to travel (~50%).
- Flexible and proactive: you are driven to understand and promote VFFS solutions beyond standard office hours.
What we offer
A challenging commercial‑technical role within an international company, with room to grow the VFFS business and your career.
- Gross annual salary: €80.000–€115.000, depending on experience.
- Attractive bonus scheme and company lease car.
- Excellent employment conditions: 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days, flexible working, gym discount and a bike scheme.
- Collegial atmosphere with enthusiastic, professional colleagues.
- Significant responsibility and autonomy in shaping the role.
