Title: Technical Sales Engineer, KSB SupremeServ
Reports to: Vice President, KSB SupremeServ AMN
Position Summary: Support and develop service activities in the North American region, focusing on high technology pump retrofit/replacements in a customer-centric manner. Collaborate with management to develop the strategic sales plan and drive its implementation to ensure the delivery of targeted profitable sales growth.
Responsibilities:

Assist all Service Centers (SC) in the Region with Sales and Technical questions related to High-Technology equipment. Increase awareness of KSB SupremeServ products and services within the SC Network in the Region.

Assist and guide SC in Troubleshooting at the equipment installation site, proposing improvements. Thus, sales are increased by offering profitable solutions for KSB SupremeServ and the customer.

Coordinate and promote regional resources and capabilities during Customer interactions and job execution stages. Act as a liaison between SC and the Regional Application Engineering teams.

Attend Customer-specific meetings with SC representatives and promote acceptance of the Company’s products and services.

Act as a KSB SupremeServ representative to the Customer, ensuring that all KSB brand names are protected and that work is executed and meets the highest quality standards. At the same time, assist SC in unlocking a clear value proposition for the Customer.

Develop and execute KSB SupremeServ work processes and methods in the area of responsibility and ensure adherence by all SC in the Region. Assist the SC teams with developing appropriate strategies, goals, tactics, etc., to benefit the KSB SupremeServ in the Region and KSB Group.

Assist and ensure SC achieves profitable sales growth, focusing on retrofit/replacement business.
Qualifications:

10 years minimum experience in engineered pump business

5 years direct sales experience
-
Knowledge of power plant systems, refinery applications, steel production

Applications engineering/product selection experience a bonus

Ability to prioritize schedule and work across multiple sales teams

Ability to travel 70% of the time

User of MS Office, CRM tools, CAD

Ability to present to large groups (300+) as well as one on one

Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering Degree preferred

Fluent German Language Skills (a plus)
