Job Title:Technical Sales Engineer - Coatings

Summary:We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) to join our team. The TSE will be instrumental in providing processing / engineering support externally at customers’ facilities or internally in our lab/pilot line. The individual must be agile to improve customer touch time with focus on the existing & new customers.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide/conduct new product trials, development and application support.
  • Manage sampling, prototyping, internal and external line trials, troubleshooting, and the analysis of technical data. Clearly communicate technical reports to customers.
  • Identify new leads and opportunities, contributing to the growth of our new business pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Technology teams to achieve full product qualification and achieve sales.
  • Build In-depth product, application and processing knowledge for the Coating markets, Focus on Adjacent markets.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Technical degree in a scientific, engineering or technology field, such as chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science.
  • At least 3 years' working knowledge in the application of UV and thermal Hard coats
  • Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and part of a global team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coating industry experience driving new technologies from concept to commercialization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a cross-functional team environment with strong customer focus
  • Ability for effective teamwork and strong team player
  • Strong communication skills to build sustainable customer and business relationships
  • Self-motivated individual with high level of creativity and technical curiosity
