Get ready to Own the development of a new aquaculture market as a Technical Sales Advisor at Skretting, a Nutreco company. In this role, you will play a key part in establishing and growing our presence in Ghana, working directly with customers and partners to bring our products to market.
This is a project-based role for an initial period of one year, designed to build a strong commercial and operational foundation. Based on project success and business growth, there is a possibility to extend or convert into a longer-term role.
What you’ll do
As our Technical Sales Advisor, you will focus on business development and market entry in Ghana. You will:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including establishing relationships with potential distributors, partners, and fish farmers
- Build a strong professional network within the aquaculture industry to support long-term growth
- Support the introduction and positioning of Skretting products in the Ghanaian market
- Provide technical advice and on-site support to customers, ensuring optimal feed usage and farm performance
- Collect market insights and customer feedback to shape market entry and growth strategy
- Travel extensively within Ghana to visit customers and partners.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone ready to Own a high-impact project and grow along with the business:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, or a related field with an average of 3–5 years of experience
- Strong commercial mindset and interest in sales/business development
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a developing and unstructured market environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English as well as other local languages (Twi & Ga).
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Ghana
- Valid driver’s license (required for frequent field visits)
