Who you are:
- Lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects from initial concept through to full industrialization. Be responsible for aligning project goals with business objectives, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that all technical, operational, and quality requirements are met. This role requires technical acumen, and a proven ability to drive results in a global environment.
- Will collaborate closely with universities, external suppliers, R&D, production engineering and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into production.
About the job:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for concept development and industrialization initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams including universities and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance using KPIs and project management tools; proactively identify and resolve issues and bottlenecks.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates and executive summaries to steering committees, management teams and key stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and implementing best practices in project management processes.
- Support change management efforts and ensure smooth handover to operations and production teams.
What you know:
- Master’s degree in mechanical or Automation engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a manufacturing development environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, high-impact projects from concept through to industrialization.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate multiple levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-cultural teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to interpret data, assess project risks, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
