The Role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Kaizen’s software solutions for our customers. You will bridge the gap between customers and our engineering team, ensuring that all technical requirements are understood and effectively translated into actionable tasks. You will oversee the entire implementation process, from gathering customer requirements to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and according to customer specifications.
Location
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to join our team in person in New York City for three days a week.
What You’ll Do…

Collaborate closely with customers to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the engineering and product teams.

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle of customer implementations, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize implementation needs.

Provide technical support and guidance throughout onboarding, training, and deployment phases for our customers.

Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for customer implementations.

Create and maintain technical documentation for implementation processes, ensuring smooth internal and customer-facing communication.

Develop and implement scripts, integrations, or low-code solutions to optimize customer workflows and ensure smooth integration of our software solutions.

Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to engineering when necessary, ensuring prompt resolution.

Identify bottlenecks in the implementation process and proactively work to improve workflows and optimize team efficiency.

Regularly communicate status updates alongside an implementation specialist to customers and internal teams to ensure alignment on progress and timelines.

Conduct technical training sessions for both internal teams and customers to ensure a successful post-launch experience.

Track customer requests and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project objectives.
What You’ll Bring…

5+ years of experience in a SaaS environment in technical project management, solutions engineering, or sales engineering.

Proven track record of managing and executing successful software implementations with multiple stakeholders.

Experience with project management methodologies and tools like Jira, Linear, Asana, Monday.

Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical requirements for clear communication with all stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Strong Candidates May Also Have…
-
Experience in SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, or enterprise software deployments
-
PMP Certification or willingness to obtain one
-
An understanding of APIs, integrations, and software deployment.
