As a Technical Project Manager within MMS you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects and initiatives within the project portfolio across business and technology domains.
You will be using a mix of traditional project management measures of time, cost and quality combined with scrum / agile methodology to deliver high-quality products and exceptional user and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the delivery of approved projects using agile techniques and frameworks.
- Act as scrum master in product delivery teams including providing coaching on developing agile behaviours and facilitating enhanced ways of working that embed agile practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to define project requirements and objectives.
- Lead and manage delivery teams to successfully deliver all key milestones and product outcomes to approved scope, time and budget measures.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships including steering committees through effective communications, documentation, negotiation and issues management to ensure delivery of projects and the achievement of outcomes and benefits.
- Report and escalate issues such as variances and manage delivery by exception to ensure issues are understood and actions to resolve identified.
You will bring:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in managing project budgets, risks, issues and change
- Extensive internal and external stakeholder management experience
- Strong operational knowledge of technology and experience working on large corporate projects
- Problem solving and critical and analytical thinking
- Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, IT or equivalent education and/or experience is desirable
- Formal project management (PRINCE2, PMI, Agile) qualifications desirable or equivalent experience
