Vivcourt is a quantitative trading firm with a philanthropic purpose. Instead of a shareholder model, we split our profits 50/50 between employees and social impact donations & initiatives.
We deploy a highly diverse range of trading strategies which require a highly diverse range of technical solutions. Our in-house teams build and manage trading engines, connectivity systems, data management applications, GUIs and the infrastructure environments that support them. We also have a variety of external partners, including exchanges, regulators, data providers and third party software services. Such a complex set up requires a high level of organisation and stakeholder management, which is why our project management team is so critical to our business success.
We are now looking to hire an experienced project manager to help run the growing number of technical projects, manage internal and external relationships and keep us on course.
What you bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in software and infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment, with project delivery responsibilities
- Curiosity in understanding where business needs intersect with technology; you proactively identify opportunities to improve stability and robustness of desks through technical solutions
- Experience working and communicating with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
- Understanding of and ability to discover data sources and how they apply to business needs
- A strong understanding of infrastructure environments, including Linux, Windows, Networks and Security
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making
- A strong desire and ability to learn new businesses and technical setups with a goal to bring stakeholders together, remove blockers and get things done
