In this role, you’ll work in a SAFe Agile environment to coordinate planning, backlog and dependency management, release activities, risks, issues, and delivery commitments. You’ll help establish a steady delivery rhythm while ensuring teams have the clarity, resources, and support needed to make meaningful progress.

You’ll work with technical teams, customer stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to communicate progress, resolve obstacles, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll also support testing, implementation readiness, cutover, stabilization, and transition to operations. What You’ll Work On:

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, delivery milestones, resource assignments, and dependencies.
• Lead SAFe Agile activities, including PI Planning, backlog coordination, release planning, dependency management, and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate internal, customer, vendor, and technical resources to drive deliverables to timely completion.
• Use Jira and Confluence to manage plans, backlogs, risks, dependencies, documentation, reporting, and delivery metrics.
• Lead customer status meetings and executive briefings covering progress, milestones, upcoming work, risks, decisions, and program health.
• Coordinate implementation readiness activities, including migration planning, testing, cutover, hypercare, stabilization, and transition to operations.
• Identify and resolve delivery obstacles, escalate decisions appropriately, and maintain alignment across engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Ensure project activities meet contractual commitments and applicable security, compliance, governance, and documentation requirements.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in an IT project management, technical program delivery, or Agile delivery field
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional IT initiatives from initiation through implementation and transition to operations
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder expectations
• Experience operating in a SAFe Agile environment, including PI Planning, backlog management, release planning, and coordination across Agile teams
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project planning, delivery tracking, risk management, reporting, and documentation
• Experience coordinating technical, customer, vendor, and distributed delivery teams and driving work to completion
• Experience leading implementation readiness, migration planning, testing coordination, cutover, stabilization, and transition-to-operations activities
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree

 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with AI-enabled solutions and delivery considerations, including AI/ML, agentic systems, LLMs, RAG, and MCP
• Experience leading enterprise software development, cloud migration, digital transformation, or large-scale implementation programs
• Experience with organizational change management, adoption planning, training coordination, or executive-level portfolio reporting
• Experience managing third-party vendors, subcontractors, or distributed delivery teams
• Knowledge of OCI, Oracle Database, and enterprise cloud migration or modernization practices
• Possession of strong facilitation, communication, organization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or comparable certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
