ECS is seeking an Technical Project Coordinator to join our team in our Portland, OR office (Hybrid).
Overview
This position is located in the Portland, OR area. This is a hybrid position requiring 50% on-site support in support of a federal cybersecurity program. We are seeking a technical project coordinator with expertise in standardizing, validating and updating project documentation and knowledge repositories. The ideal candidate will also have a proven ability to coordinate, prepare for, and track outcomes and action items from technical meetings. Your communication skills will break through information silos to ensure stakeholders stay on track and regular executive reporting is accurate and timely.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize and manage documentation and artifacts for a large technology program
- Track and coordinate tasks with internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Update and maintain project templates tracking the progress of various projects, measuring deliverables, and completion of tasks
- Facilitate cross-team communication, clarify technical requirements, discuss tasks and progress, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals
- Support development of project user stories, create manageable tasks, acceptance criteria, and set timeframes
- Review and work with stakeholders to refine to adapt to changes and improve project direction
- Organize meetings and meeting materials, capture action items, and maintain communication logs
- Prepare routine reports and coordination summaries to inform operational leadership
- Recommend improvements to workflows and documentation practices
- Provide research for various subjects related to the program
- US Citizenship
- Requires obtaining a DOE Public Trust prior to start, and ability to obtain a Level L clearance
- Proven work experience (5 – 7 years) as a technical Project Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Project Management Software
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting project planning and execution
