Technical Project Coordinator

BUSINESS UNIT: ConstructEdge

FUNCTION: Service

REPORTS TO: Project Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

LOCATION: Arizona - this role will be working remotely from Arizona while providing intermittent on-site assistance to ConstructEdge clients

EDUCATION: Industry standard Project Management certifications or relevant experience

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience preferred

This role will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and successful completion of ConstructEdge projects. Responsibilities will include coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and facilitating communication between cross-functional teams.

What You'll Accomplish and Experience

  • Understands project goals, scope, defined roles and responsibilities and project resources
  • Translate scope and objectives into tasks and schedules, assign and monitor tasks
  • Deliver objectives as outlined and defined in Statement of Work
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external clients regarding project progress or updates
  • Obtain, create, and track vendor quotes, purchase orders and work invoices
  • Review, analyze and articulate root cause of issues and propose solutions
  • Help manage relationships with vendors, integrators, and telecommunication providers including daily, weekly, and monthly communication and contract negotiations as a function within projects
  • Aids in creation and maintenance of project schedules including resource tracking
  • Work proactively and effectively to meet or exceed established customer service performance expectations (SLA's)
  • Understand and apply practical knowledge of all systems, processes and procedures within Service Delivery with the ability to propose and implement changes
  • Displaying financial awareness in decision-making pertaining to project and service coordination
  • Ensure that all customer updates and products/service information is properly documented in internal databases
  • Assist with Field Service activities as needed for installations

Desirable Previous Experience

  • Understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies
  • Ability to facilitate meetings to fulfill objectives and timeframes including defining objectives, participants, action items, processes and expected outcomes
  • Subject matter expert level planning & organizational skills
  • Basic understanding and skills with support and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of wireless network technologies, signal strength, loss of signal, line of sight, interference, etc
  • Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP including IP addressing and sub-netting and network connectivity, etc
  • Advanced problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to facilitate projects from beginning to end
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (2010 or higher)
