Primary Responsibilities:
- This person may support multiple roles, depending on the needs of the organization, shifting between operational support and focused project delivery, or a combination thereof
- Role may be responsible for managing end-to-end projects such as system enhancements, AI initiatives, Power BI Dashboard efforts, and implementing survey operations
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals as needed
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, help translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver outcomes
- Provide regular status/progress updates to leadership and stakeholders on key initiatives
- Identify risks and create mitigation strategies
- Facilitate meetings and ensure transparency in progress tracking
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Ensure strong process governance, documentation, and data integrity
- Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive standardization across processes
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- College graduate of any course
- 3+ years leading IT projects and technical initiatives supporting IT operations
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, ServiceNow, .XLS, etc.
- Basic understanding of the IT infrastructure
- Proven solid team-oriented skills and ability to lead cross functional initiatives, focusing on achieving diverse operational objectives
- Proven ability to leverage AI capabilities (automation, insights, copilots, intelligent workflows) to enhance efficiency and achieve operational outcomes
- Proven solid communication skills, communicates process guidance and project status clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences. Prior experience working with U.S. based clients
- Proven ability to handle multiple initiatives in parallel while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Proven oriented to customer service and teamwork
- Proven to produce clear written documentation and training content aligned to Optum standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in continuous improvement, process re-engineering, or Lean methodologies
- Agile experience - working with agile teams delivering iterative improvements
- Experience with survey management, to include survey design and integrating surveys with downstream systems and reporting platforms
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI to track metrics, trends, and performance
- Experience with IT Asset Recovery and IT Asset Management
