About Us

Red Cell Partners is an incubation firm building and investing in rapidly scalable technology-led companies that are bringing revolutionary advancements to market in three distinct practice areas: healthcare, cyber, and national security. United by a shared sense of duty and deep belief in the power of innovation, Red Cell is developing powerful tools and solutions to address our Nation’s most pressing problems.

About Andesite:

After decades defending the nation's most sensitive networks, we founded Andesite with a clear mission: to build security products that transform how humans and AI collaborate to defend against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

We’re a diverse team of cyber and security experts, passionate technologists, and experienced product builders. We come from some of the largest national security, tech, cybersecurity, and data organizations on the planet.

We've raised more than $38 million from investors like General Catalyst and Red Cell Partners.

The future of cybersecurity isn't about better technology alone—it's about reimagining how humans and machines work together. Come build with us.

The Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to serve as the critical connective tissue between our internal product teams and our most strategic government and commercial customers. This is not just a project management role; it is a pivotal position requiring exceptional organizational diplomacy.

As a foundational TPM, you will be responsible for orchestrating complex interdependencies between engineering, data science, and product management to deliver a product suite that supercharges cybersecurity analysts. You will act as a primary interface for government stakeholders, exercising high levels of autonomy and judgment to navigate bureaucratic landscapes and drive mission success. You are the “glue” that ensures our technical velocity remains aligned with rigorous government requirements and private-sector excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution: Drive multidisciplinary teams through the full development lifecycle. You will bring together engineers, data scientists, and designers - often with competing priorities - to achieve unified results and seamless project integration.
  • Highly Complex Customer and Program Execution: Act as the key bridge between Andesite leadership and government and commercial customers. You will manage complex contracts and deliverables, ensuring we meet or exceed mission-critical timelines while maintaining high-trust relationships with stakeholders.
  • Champion Organizational Diplomacy: Navigate internal and external stakeholders with tact and influence. You will identify potential friction points across the company before they become roadblocks, building consensus and mobilizing resources to overcome obstacles.
  • Build the Programmatic Foundation: Design and implement the frameworks for project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking. You will establish the “source of truth” for delivery timelines and expectations, ensuring transparency across the entire organization.
  • Align Mission with Strategy: Balance immediate tactical requirements from customers with Andesite’s long-term product roadmap. You will ensure that every milestone delivered to a partner reinforces our broader goal of transforming the cyber defense landscape.

What You Have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in technical program management or engineering, with a significant portion spent delivering complex software projects within a US government or national security context.
  • Mastery of Organizational Diplomacy: A proven ability to influence without authority, bringing together diverse teams from across the company to solve problems and hit deadlines.
  • Technical Fluency: A strong background in software development processes and a deep understanding of modern technical infrastructure. You should be able to speak the language of engineers and data scientists comfortably.
  • Cybersecurity Domain Expertise: Familiarity with key concepts including Zero Trust Architecture, Application Security, Threat Hunting, and Incident Response.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance: You must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • High-Growth Mindset: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment where you must wear multiple hats and adapt to evolving mission needs.
  • Exceptional Communication: Top-tier presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical updates into clear, actionable insights for leadership and customers.

Even Better If You Have:

  • Direct experience in an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B).
  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or SOC operations.
  • Background in data analysis, machine learning, or AI-driven products.

What We Offer:

  • Top-of-market competitive salary, bonus, and equity package
  • 100% employer paid, comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision for you and your family
  • Unlimited PTO, with your manager’s approval
  • Flexible work environment where you manage your work day
  • A remote-first environment, with occasional travel to collaborate with customers, your team, and teammates from across the company in person
  • Home office reimbursement
  • 14 weeks of fully-paid parental leave

Salary range: $165,000-$185,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
