Job Title: Technical Program Manager 

Location: Bangalore, India 

Position Summary 

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of cross-functional technical initiatives across engineering, infrastructure, product, and security teams, ensuring execution excellence and alignment with organizational objectives. 
This role acts as a central coordination point between multiple departments - bridging technical, operational, and process gaps to improve collaboration and delivery outcomes. 
The TPM will lead complex programs focused on process standardization, technical remediation, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring visibility of progress and consistent execution across global teams. 
The role requires strong program leadership, organizational change management (OCM) capabilities, and the ability to translate strategic goals into measurable results while fostering adoption of best practices across diverse stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define program objectives, scope, success criteria, and key deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful execution. 
  • Facilitate transparent communication and alignment across all participating teams. 
  • Track and report program progress, milestones, and metrics to stakeholders and executive leadership. 
  • Identify and proactively resolve risks, blockers, and cross-team challenges. 
  • Continuously improve program management practices and documentation using industry best practices. 
  • Support organizational change and adoption of new processes, tools, or technologies. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for security, privacy, and quality. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program or project management within software, cloud, or infrastructure domains. 
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional technical programs. 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe), and DevOps principles. 
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (workflows, dashboards, reporting). 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation abilities. 
  • Experience working with distributed global teams across multiple time zones. 

Nice to Have 

  • Exposure to security, compliance, or infrastructure modernization programs (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, hardening, certificate management, or cloud security). 
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Experience driving organizational change and process adoption (OCM). 
  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or CSM. 

Work Setup 

Based in Bangalore, flexible for hybrid work and overlap with US/Europe time zones.
