The Technology Department is looking for a Technical Program Manager for the Agile Portfolio Office Team. In this hybrid position, you will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects. You will be working closely with people throughout the organization to ensure that all requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track and in alignment with our corporate strategy. Responsibilities include establishing project deliverables, effective communication plans, preparing status reports, and executing said plans. You will help manage the project teams' deliverables and identify gaps in existing processes and update them or design new processes where needed.

A successful candidate possesses technical acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to align teams around a shared vision. You will be the connective tissue across the Technology Department to ensure timely and successful program outcomes.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical aptitude for quickly understanding and working with new technologies, systems, and technical concepts relevant to project delivery.
  • Understanding project management principles and practices, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, dependency, and change management.
  • Project leadership – Leads individual projects from initiation through delivery by defining project objectives, success criteria, milestones, and delivery plans aligned to business outcomes.
  • Execution-focused delivery ownership – Drives day-to-day project execution, ensures work stays on track, manages risks and issues, and escalates blockers appropriately.
  • Stakeholder advisement and coordination – Partners with business owners, vendors, and technical teams to align expectations, timelines, and delivery commitments. Escalates risks related to scope, cost, or contractual dependencies when needed.
  • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills – Understands how and when to ask the right questions to analyze systems, processes, or data. Identifies project risks, dependencies, and issues, and recommends practical mitigation strategies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills – Effectively breaks down complex initiatives into actionable plans and manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Skilled communicator – Adapts communication style and level of detail based on audience (technical and non-technical). Communicates project status, risks, and decisions clearly and consistently to the right stakeholders at the right time.
  • Highly collaborative – Works effectively across cross-functional teams and organizational levels. Ensures the right participants are engaged in planning, decision-making, and delivery.
  • Stakeholder communication – Understands business needs, identifies pain points, and ensures project outcomes align with stakeholder expectations. Builds trust, gains buy-in and drives alignment throughout project delivery.
  • Requirements and scope management – Partners with technical and business teams to elicit, document, validate, and manage project requirements. Ensures delivered solutions meet agreed-upon outcomes and constraints.
  • Proficiency with documentation and ticketing tools to plan, track, document, and communicate project status and deliverables.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills – Prepares and delivers project updates, kickoffs, and readouts for stakeholders and leadership audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' proven experience in project management
  • Deep understanding of Agile & Scrum Methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PMP or Agile Certification is a plus
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
