As the manager of Program Engineering for the USG Tech and Innovation Team, you will lead and oversee the engineering program management activities across the USG GTM Organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects. This role will ensure that all engineering programs align with the company's goals and are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Technical Program Management: Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple, concurrent programs using JIRA and Salesforce as primary tools
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to program managers and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Collaborative Leadership: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through close working relationships with cross functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations
  • "First Mile" Proposal Support: Work with account leads and sales teams to create compelling and compliant solutions to capture new opportunities, either in response to government solicitations or white papers. Serve as a solution architect for key strategic initiatives. Ensure rigor in ROM, Solution (including the definition of core product) and Schedule
  • Capability Development Implementation: Support the development and evaluation of new concepts and subsequently drive their implementation within engineering programs, ensuring they are integrated effectively into existing systems and processes


Minimum Requirements:

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Program Management, or a related field
  • 5-7+ years engineering or technical program management
  • 5+ years managing complex engineering projects
  • Experience working with USG customers, including those in technical and leadership positions
  • Jira and Salesforce experience
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML methodologies, GEOINT programs, and core technologies
  • Ability to architect solutions by referencing customer requirements, technical capabilities, and product offerings across multiple portfolios
  • Ability to travel


Preferred Requirements:

  • MS degree in Systems Engineering, Program Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies. PMP strongly desired
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously from a cost, schedule and technical perspective
  • Experience with solutions that contain commercial capabilities as well as services offerings

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $132,000.00 - $220,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
