Overview
Mastercard Developers is the single entry point for Mastercard partners to access a diverse range of payment, data, loyalty, and security APIs. Our team is responsible for delivering an experience that ensures developers can quickly find the right API, assess its technical capabilities, and integrate it into new and innovative solutions. The Mastercard Developers team is looking for a technical program manager/scrum master to lead the successful execution of projects and programs, driving scalability and enhancing customer value for our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Role
As a technical program manager/scrum master, you will:
• Be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion, for an existing technology product or program through collaboration with an international cross functional team including product, engineering, QA, UX and infrastructure teams.• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, capacity and resource allocations.• Plan and lead agile ceremonies and drive continuous development within the team.• Proactively identify and manage technical risks and dependencies, ensuring successful execution of projects.• Operate between teams and architectures overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery.• Collaborate with senior leadership to align program goals with broader business objectives.• Drive effective team organization and communication. Report out progress to internal stakeholders.
All About You• Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.).• Strong ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy in all elements of project management• Solid understand of software development processes and Agile practices. • Proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams.• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.• Ability to adapt swiftly and efficiently when priorities shift.• Enthusiastic about prioritizing product delivery to the customer over exclusively delivering story points.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Strong communications skills - both verbal and written - ability to communicate critical points efficient across a wide range of audiences.• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while fostering respect among colleagues across the organization.• Huge plus if you have expertise in working with API based products.
