Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale finance transformation and reporting modernization initiatives spanning multiple organizations and functions.
- Define program vision, strategy, roadmaps, success metrics, and long-term business outcomes.
- Drive alignment across Finance, Engineering, Data Platform, and Business Operations stakeholders.
- Resolve complex cross-organizational challenges and influence decision-making across leadership teams.
- Ensure successful delivery and adoption of strategic business capabilities.
- Partner with Finance leaders to identify opportunities to simplify operations, increase efficiency, and improve business decision-making.
- Develop business cases, investment recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, strategic impact, and customer outcomes.
- Lead organizational change management efforts required to successfully implement new capabilities.
- Drive modernization initiatives supporting reporting, planning, forecasting, budgeting, headcount, and operational analytics.
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to shape scalable data and reporting platforms.
- Establish governance, quality, operational excellence, and data stewardship practices.
- Champion adoption of modern analytics, automation, AI, and self-service reporting solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with Finance leaders, Engineering leaders, and senior executives.
- Deliver executive-level communications, strategic recommendations, and business impact assessments.
- Influence priorities and investments without direct authority.
- Align stakeholders around common goals, outcomes, and transformation strategies.
- Drive innovation through automation, AI, and modern reporting capabilities.
- Establish repeatable frameworks, operating models, and best practices that improve program execution and organizational effectiveness.
- Mentor TPMs and contribute to the growth of the broader TPM community.
- Act as a thought leader for finance modernization, data strategy, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Deep experience supporting Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Reporting, Planning, or Business Operations organizations.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms including Fabric, Azure Data Services, Power BI, SQL, SAP, and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Experience defining reporting and analytics strategies at organizational scale.
- Experience implementing automation and AI-enabled business capabilities.
- Experience leading operating model transformations and large-scale change management initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence Director-level and executive stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and developing technical program managers.
- 6+ years leading large-scale cross-functional and cross-organizational programs.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
