The Technical Product Owner partners closely with operations, sales, engineering, QA, UX, compliance, marketing and go-to-market teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and user-centered solutions. The Product Owner serves as the voice of the customer and business within agile delivery teams, ensuring solutions improve member outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with Operations and Sales to identify problems that require engineering attention.
- Embed with the Agent Facing team.
- Work closely with VP Product on perpetual prioritization.
- Own and manage the product backlog; write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize work based on business value and risk.
- Partner with engineering and UX to deliver high-quality, on-time feature functionality.
- Make day-to-day product decisions to keep delivery moving efficiently.
- Support user testing.
- Act as the primary liaison between business leaders, operations, and technology.
- Align product priorities with enterprise strategy and roadmap commitments.
- Communicate trade-offs, progress, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
- Leverage analytics, user feedback, and operational data to inform prioritization and measure success.
- Define and track KPIs tied to project outcomes.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and user experience.
- Support release planning, UAT, and post-launch performance evaluation.
- Incorporate learnings into future iterations and roadmap planning.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven ability to translate complex business or regulatory requirements into clear product stories.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using Jira to manage projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or regulated health technology
- Knowledge of CMS rules and regulations.
- Experience with payer, provider, Medicare/Medicaid, or healthcare brokerage platforms.
- Experience working with call center, enrollment, claims, or care management workflows.
- Experience working with web analytics platforms (HEAP, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods of time, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
- Frequent use of a computer, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment such as a telephone, copier, and printer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, including exchanging information in person, in writing, by telephone, email or video conferencing.
- Visual and auditory acuity required to perform job duties effectively, including reading, writing, and interpreting information on screens or in print.
- Hand dexterity, fine motor skills needed to operate a keyboard and mouse efficiently
- Reach with hands and arms occasionally
For Hybrid Roles:
- Must be able to commute to an office setting as required, which may include walking short distances and navigating an office environment.
- Occasionally moves about the office to access files, office machinery, and meet with others.
