We’re hiring a Technical Product Owner with a strong External Client Facing engineering background to lead one of the teams supporting the overall agentic product platform. The ideal candidate will have experience leading enterprise platform deployments into customer environments rather than only operating multi-tenant SaaS, and will be able to define implementation approaches and guide the product roadmap to support this deployment model. Comfortable with patterns where each customer runs the product in their own secure environment with isolated data and integrations. They will be responsible for delivery for AI-powered product capabilities in a multi-tenant cloud environment. You’ll own your team’s backlog, translate strategy into prioritized work, and drive outcomes across engineering, design, GenAI, and customer-facing teams. This role is ideal for someone who has shipped AI features in a SaaS product and thrives on measurable impact (adoption, retention, ARR expansion).

Key Responsibilities

  • Mandatory: Strong external customer facing SaaS engineering background and prior experience working as a Technical Product Owner (TPO) in a SaaS product company, owning multi-tenant products sold on subscription to external B2B customers and used by multiple client organizations.
  • Some hands-on experience applying AI/ML capabilities within SaaS products with the ability to translate model capabilities into customer-facing features and measurable product outcomes.
  • Serve as a Technical Product Owner for the India squad, with hands-on responsibility for code quality, technical implementation integrity, and overall team output in partnership with product and engineering leads.
  • Act as an extension of a global product team, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering counterparts in the US.
  • Own and refine a subset of the product backlog within the overall SaaS product, ensuring your squad’s backlog items align to the roadmap, priorities, and business goals set by global leadership.
  • Translate agreed business priorities and roadmap themes from the global team into clear sprint goals and development work for the India squad.
  • Communicate product context, intent, and customer impact to the India delivery team, while escalating trade-offs and scope questions back to US product leadership as needed.
  • Partner with the Domain Manager to define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, and outcome measures related to the capabilities owned by the India squad.
  • Ensure the India delivery team understands business value, customer context, and success criteria, including how external clients will buy, implement, and use the product.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, Customer Success, Sales, and IT stakeholders, primarily through the US product team, to refine requirements and clarify priorities.
  • Ensure the team are equipped to support test planning, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation for successful solution rollouts to internal and external customers.
  • Lead requirements elaboration, business process detailing, and solution design sessions for features owned by the India squad, incorporating customer and market feedback provided by the global product team.
  • Translate strategic objectives and roadmap direction provided by US leadership into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that reflect end-customer personas and use cases.
  • Support backlog refinement with POs, architects, and developers, ensuring alignment to the overall external SaaS roadmap and subscription offerings.
  • Support UAT planning, validation, defect resolution, and post-release feedback for externally released product features and subscriptions owned by the India squad.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Strong SaaS engineering background and prior experience working as a Technical Product Owner (TPO) in a SaaS product company, having delivered and managed externally subscribed B2B SaaS products used by multiple client organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking SaaS products (or major features) from concept to market and into active subscription use by external customers, including post-launch iteration based on usage and feedback.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in total with 3+ years of experience managing AI or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience:
  • o Translating business priorities into sprint goals and user stories.
    o Backlog refinement and sprint planning collaboration.
    o Cross-functional collaboration with business leaders, IT, domain managers, and customer-facing teams (Sales / Customer Success / Support).
    o Driving alignment across multiple business areas in support of externally delivered SaaS offerings.
