Beagle is the revenue machine behind the fastest growing YC startup ever. We’re at the intersection of insurance, property management, and automation. We’re rebuilding how an entire industry operates. Beagle is scaling fast, entering a V2 rebuild phase of our platform, expanding into enterprise partnerships, software integrations, and new insurance lines under the Corgi (parent company) umbrella.

Role Overview

As our Technical Product Owner, you’ll own the roadmap that drives Beagle’s next chapter. The evolution of our platform from a single-market solution into a scalable, multi-product ecosystem.

You’ll think across two time horizons:

• 3–6 months out: executing the V2 rebuild, leading sprint delivery, supporting enterprise and platform partnerships.
  

• 3–5 years out: architecting how Beagle expands into new insurance products and integrated technologies across the Corgi ecosystem.
  

This role sits at the center of business and engineering. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Lead Engineer (React, TypeScript, Tailwind) to define sprint scopes, translate business objectives into actionable stories, and drive development through clarity, prioritization, and ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the product roadmap across existing property management verticals (MultiFamily, Single Family) and new frontiers (enterprise, platform, partnerships).

• Drive the V2 rebuild, refactoring the current product for scalability, reliability, and extensibility.

• Translate business strategy into execution, writing clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering.

• Work directly with the Lead Engineer to manage sprint schedules, backlog grooming, and release prioritization.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, compliance, and operations to define technical requirements that support major enterprise deals and platform integrations.

• Leverage data and user analytics to prioritize features, measure adoption, and validate impact.

• Plan across multiple time horizons:

  • Near-term: roadmap and sprint execution.

  • Mid-term: new system capabilities and architecture.

  • Long-term: future insurance lines, ecosystem growth, and AI-driven automation.

• Communicate clearly and frequently

  • Aligning technical and non-technical teams with crisp, actionable updates.
    

What We’re Looking For

• Proven product ownership experience in fast-scaling, 0→1 or 1→10 environments (ideally in SaaS, InsurTech, or PropTech).

• Strong technical fluency

  • Comfortable working daily with React, TypeScript, Tailwind-based engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience managing sprints, backlogs, and release cycles using agile methodologies.

• Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, structured product requirements.

• Strong analytical mindset and experience using product analytics to guide prioritization.

• Entrepreneurial bias toward speed, clarity, and results.

• Bonus: experience with platform products, enterprise integrations, or multi-product ecosystems.
