Job Description:

Johnson and Johnson is currently recruiting for a IT Manager, Pricing and Contracting Technical Product Owner,  within the Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) organization. This preferred location for this role is Raritan, NJ with consideration given to remote candidates in other US locations on a case by case basis.

This role will focus on contract strategies across Innovative Medicine and MedTech, ensuring contract commitments are managed effectively, and will also support Global Supply Chain project and portfolio management for the Planisware product. The ideal candidate combines technical depth, product management experience, and strong stakeholder leadership. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Product Management: Define and communicate the vision with key partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, commercial and enterprise functions to capture requirements and prioritize for product release. 

  • AI: Define AI requirements, evaluate feasibility, and prioritize AI-enabled functionality. 

  • Backlog Management: Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility. 

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business partners; understand the technical aspects of our contracting products and how they integrate with broader systems. 

  • Agile Methodologies: Lead the Agile development process, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. 

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the contracting landscape. 

  • User Acceptance Testing: Partner with teams for user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product features meet user requirements and perform as expected. 

  • Training and Documentation: Develop user guides and training materials, and conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure successful product adoption. 

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track objectives and key results (OKRs) to evaluate product performance, user satisfaction, and overall success of contracting initiatives. 

 

Qualifications 

Education: 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. 

Experience and Skills: 

Required:  

  • 8 years of related technology experience in a technical field. 

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering IT solutions and driving product outcomes. 

 

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and cross functional partnering skills. 

 

  • Hands-on experience with Agile development, SDLC, and risk/security management practices. 

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to both technical and business audiences. 

 

  • Experience coordinating UAT, training, and change management for enterprise users. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Knowledge and experience with Model N Cloud platforms and sell side contracting is preferred. 

  • Experience with project and portfolio management. 

  • Experience with Appian or similar low-code platforms.  

  • Experience Integrating AI-driven features into digital products or platforms 

  • People leadership skills. 

  • Experience in encouraging a culture which promotes high-performing teams. 

  • Experience working with various integration platforms is preferred. 

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP Commerce Cloud, BTP, Webmethods, and Apigee are preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
