To further expand this strategic area, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner – Mobile Robotics who will take end‑to‑end responsibility for the technical product landscape and sustainably advance our mobile robotics solutions.
Your role – Responsibility with impact
As a Technical Product Owner – Mobile Robotics, you take on full technical responsibility for mobile robotics solutions within the Logistic Systems portfolio. You act as a technical lead and integrator between Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Software Solutions, I&D and external robotics partners.
Your goal: scalable, standardized and robust system solutions that can be successfully deployed worldwide.
Your tasks at a glance
- Ownership of the technical roadmap for Mobile Robotics within Logistic Systems
- Definition and further development of system architectures, standards and technical guidelines
- Technical product and system responsibility for:
- MR‑based sorting and intralogistics systems
- Additional LS applications based on external MR solutions
- Development of modular, scalable solutions for global reuse
- Translating market, customer and business requirements into technical solutions
- Technical evaluation, qualification and integration of external robotics and technology partners
- Definition of integration and interface standards
- Ensuring interoperability within complex overall systems
- Technical support for Sales and Pre‑Projects
- Building best practices and internal standards for Mobile Robotics
- Close and continuous collaboration with the Platform team in Innovation & Development (I&D) to ensure a consistent overall architecture
Professional
- Degree in automation engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Intralogistics system architectures
- Mobile robotics / fleet management
- System and product ownership
- Strong knowledge of:
- System and platform architecture
- Mobile robotics (AMR/AGV integration)
- Interface and integration design
- Experience working with international stakeholders and suppliers
- Good German and English skills
