Technical Product Manager

You are proactive and solution-oriented. You identify problems, define solutions, and drive them forward in fast-paced Agile environments. You actively leverage AI tools as part of your daily workflow to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.

You feel comfortable owning a product backlog, onboarding API partners, presenting to a Change Advisory Board, and collaborating directly with clients to troubleshoot issues. You connect teams, drive accountability, and ensure initiatives move forward successfully.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks, including backlog ownership, sprint ceremonies, story writing, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Product ownership mindset, with the ability to prioritize effectively, maintain quality standards, and drive Definition of Done.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, collaborating with engineers, product leaders, external partners, and clients.
• Understanding of API concepts, including REST services, JSON structures, authentication, and basic error handling.
• Experience using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management, issue tracking, and release coordination.
• Practical use of AI tools or copilots to improve workflows, documentation, and productivity.
• Strong documentation practices, including requirements, epics, workflows, integration points, and process artifacts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage work independently and proactively identify risks.
• High level of empathy and curiosity, with a genuine interest in solving customer and partner problems.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain a well-groomed product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business needs.
• Lead cross-functional project delivery and act as the primary point of accountability for progress and quality.
• Coordinate collaboration between internal engineering teams and external API or integration partners.
• Translate business and partner requirements into clear functional and technical documentation.
• Lead onboarding for new API partners, including requirements gathering, environment setup, testing, and go-live coordination.
• Manage intake, triage, prioritization, and assignment of technical issues, defects, and enhancement requests.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
• Work with engineering teams to analyze logs, error reports, and support tickets to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Deliver regular status updates and present change requests to the Change Advisory Board.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and partner validation activities.
• Track delivery progress, dependencies, and risks across multiple initiatives.
• Provide direct user support when required, including troubleshooting and product walkthroughs.
• Identify and drive improvements in onboarding, support processes, and operational workflows.
• Leverage AI tools to improve documentation quality, delivery speed, and operational efficiency.

• Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and issue tracking.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and integration concepts, with the ability to support partner onboarding and triage technical issues.
• Proven ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation for cross-functional engineering teams.
