This is a technical, non-UI role, centered on empowering developers with comprehensive developer kits that include tools, guides, SDKs, and best practices. A key goal is developer acceleration using AI while adhering to industry standards and avoiding the creation of proprietary libraries.
Responsibilities
- Define and Drive the Developer Kit Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear technical vision and roadmap for Web and Mobile Developer Kits, prioritizing features based on developer needs, performance, security, and business goals.
- Drive Strategy with Technical Metrics: Leverage key technical metrics (performance benchmarks, developer onboarding time, DORA or others) to inform strategic decision-making, measure Developer Kit effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with engineering teams (Android, iOS, Angular) to ensure Developer Kits meet their technical requirements, promote consistency, and optimize development workflows.
- Manage Developer Kit Components and Documentation: Oversee the development, maintenance, and technical documentation of Developer Kit components (tools, guides, SDKs), ensuring they are robust, accessible, and easy to integrate.
- Gather and Analyze Developer Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from developers to identify technical pain points, areas for improvement, and inform the Developer Kit roadmap.
- Conduct Technical Audits and Assessments: Regularly evaluate Developer Kit performance, security, and stability, identifying opportunities for optimization and technical debt reduction.
- Communicate Technical Updates and Best Practices: Provide technical training, documentation, and support to ensure Developer Kits are effectively used and developers are aware of best practices.
- Advocate for Developer Kit Adoption: Promote the benefits of the Developer Kits and drive their adoption throughout the development process, emphasizing technical advantages and efficiencies.
- Explore and Integrate AI Tooling: Research and evaluate emerging AI tooling and technologies to enhance developer experience and productivity, such as code generation, debugging aids, performance analysis tools, while prioritizing industry standards.
- Focus on Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs): Ensure Developer Kits meet critical NFRs, including performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Adherence to Industry Standards: Ensure that the Developer Kits leverage industry standards and avoid creating proprietary libraries, promoting interoperability and developer familiarity.
