Role Overview:
We are looking for someone to join our Sportsbook domain as a Product Manager for our Feeds squad. The successful candidate will own and evolve our proprietary feed aggregation service and manage the portfolio of feeds that integrate into it that becomes the cornerstone of our consumer experience. This is an exciting and role that will see close working and collaboration with many squads across multiple domains.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, sharp communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to deliver value quickly. They be working with a strong international team based across Europe and Africa, so the ability to collaborate across physical and cultural boundaries will be very important.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop technical requirements and specifications for projects that require in-depth knowledge of the Feed Hub, including feature enhancements and upcoming feed integrations.
- Manage the Feeds Backlog within the Trading Technology domain, gatekeeping for the development team to prioritize the highest-value items based on the team's capacity.
- Own functional and non-functional product KPIs, advocating for continuous improvement as the business scales.
- Represent the Feeds squad in technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a outcome-centric approach by leveraging feedback and data to inform product decisions and continuously improve key business metrics.
- Regularly update internal stakeholders and senior management on product progress, performance, and roadmap changes, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Utilise Agile software development methodologies to deploy iterative product improvements with full transparency and adaptability to changing priorities.
What You Need for This Role:
- Prior experience as a Product Manager with an engineering or trading background, ideally in one of the Sports Betting & gaming, or Fintech industries.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams.
- An understanding of engineering concepts to capture technical requirements and effectively communicate them to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead, create product specs, and resolve user and technology-related issues.
- A thorough awareness of data and its effective utilisation for problem-solving.
- Outstanding communication skills.
