Team Overview
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager who owns technical delivery and application solution outcomes for a major product area orprogram workstream. This role partners closely with internal business resources and technical teams to analyze requirements and drive the
end-to-end design, development or development oversight, testing, implementation, delivery, and documentation of data processing solutions.
In this role, you will help sequence the roadmap for the next 2–3 Program Increments (PIs), ensure delivery commitments are feasible and well documented, and coordinate across scrum teams to support successful solution design, build, release, adoption, and ongoing improvement. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Agile & Scrum Leadership
- Lead delivery of strategic Alternative Credit initiatives, including Alternative Data products, Blended Score capabilities, score
- deployment efforts, data provider integrations, compliance enhancements, platform modernization, and customer onboarding requirements.
- Own technical delivery and application solution execution for a major product area or program workstream; lead delivery across multiple scrum teams so requirements, solution designs, development work, testing, documentation, implementation, and release activities are sequenced, staffed, and ready for iterative delivery.
- Convert business strategy and stakeholder requirements into clear priorities, a sequenced roadmap, and actionable epics and stories; secure alignment across business, architecture, engineering, compliance, and delivery teams before commitment and maintain traceability from outcomes to requirements, user stories, releases, and supporting documentation.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across product, engineering, analytics, operations, architecture, and support teams so plans are feasible and credible; surface risks early, coordinate mitigations across teams, and remove impediments before they become urgent.
- Escalate the right issues with clear options and trade-offs and drive timely decisions; facilitate prioritization and sequencing based on impact, feasibility, risk, and readiness.
Cross Functional Program Leadership
- Partner closely with Data Science, Analytics, Product Management, Compliance, and Engineering teams to support the development, implementation, monitoring, and evolution of Alternative and Blended Score products. Coordinate dependencies related to data acquisition, model deployment, score production, validation, operational readiness, and customer adoption.
- Drive roadmap planning and execution for the FactorTrust platform and Alternative Credit ecosystem, balancing technical debt reduction, regulatory requirements, infrastructure modernization, product enhancements, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Partner with internal business resources and technical teams in a matrixed environment—including solutions/product, engineering, architecture, UX, data science/analytics, compliance, legal, product marketing, operations, and support—to analyze requirements, align on outcomes, and coordinate delivery commitments.
- Define and maintain a roadmap for the next 2–3 PIs for your product area/workstream; influence yearly planning and coordinate cross-team sequencing and dependencies.
- Run KPI-driven reviews and adjust the plan to maximize measurable outcomes; use delivery, quality, performance, and operational signals to surface improvement opportunities and drive changes that increase customer value, improve flow, and strengthen solution resiliency.
Product Development Lifecycle Ownership
- Guide the full product and technical delivery lifecycle—from discovery through launch and iteration—ensuring readiness at each stage, including requirements analysis, solution definition, application design, development oversight, testing, delivery, release, adoption, and documentation.
- Translate customer, business, and stakeholder needs into actionable outcomes and deliverables for multiple teams, accounting for system boundaries, architecture constraints, dependencies, performance considerations, data movement,integrations, and operating model impacts.
- Own and communicate a sequenced roadmap and backlog; continually re-plan based on KPI performance, impact, feasibility, risk, and readiness while tracking medium-term risks and opportunities. Lead discovery workshops, requirements analysis, and technical solution discussions for foundational and high-visibility initiatives; evaluate options and trade-offs, align on approach, and drive end-to-end execution across teams and partner teams.
- Lead requirements definition and technical execution for credit risk products that leverage alternative data, including consumer reporting solutions, score development initiatives, prescreening capabilities, identity and fraud inputs, decisioning integrations, and customer-facing product enhancements.
- Ensure product designs and implementations support regulatory, operational, and customer requirements, including FCRA compliance, model governance standards, audit readiness, data quality controls, and appropriate use of consumer data
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Technical Expectations
- A Technical Product Manager owns technical delivery outcomes and understands architecture patterns, application design considerations, data processing concepts, integration points, platform constraints, and application lifecycle practices. This role works directly with engineering to shape, oversee, and deliver sound technical solutions for high-volume, data-driven product platforms.
- Drive application solution ownership for high-volume, data-driven systems and credit risk platforms, including Alternative Data products, FactorTrust capabilities, Blended Scores, and supporting decisioning services by shaping the application design, development approach, testing strategy, implementation plan, operational readiness, and delivery documentation with engineering teams.
- Design or oversee the design and development of data processing solutions, including solution decomposition, application framework considerations, data movement, system integrations, performance, resiliency, debugging, and environment readiness.
- Provide technical direction for Ab Initio-based or similar data processing solutions, including Continuous Flows, application frameworks, performance tuning, debugging, metadata usage, and reusable patterns that can be leveraged by other applications or processes.
- Create and maintain clear documentation that communicates requirements, technical context, decisions, risks, trade-offs, and delivery status for business stakeholders, developers, and senior leaders.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, services, and system integrations that enable end-user productivity, delivery efficiency, and consistent product execution.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to translate model requirements into scalable production solutions, including score generation workflows, feature engineering requirements, model deployment processes, monitoring frameworks, and performance measurement capabilities.
- Understand credit bureau, alternative data, and blended scoring ecosystems, including data sourcing, consumer reporting requirements, score implementation considerations, model performance monitoring, and client integration patterns.
Leadership Expectations
- Leads through influence across teams and partner organizations, secures alignment on direction and trade-offs, and operates with sustained
- independence while driving delivery, measurable outcomes, quality documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Influence strategic direction for Alternative Credit and FactorTrust initiatives by aligning business objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, data science priorities, and technology investments into a cohesive delivery roadmap.
Qualifications
- Typically 8+ years of experience in technical product management, application development, engineering, systems analysis, data processing solution delivery, or related product-focused technical roles, including ownership of a product area or program workstream and leadership across multiple delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery environments and driving iterative delivery from requirements through development, testing, release, and post-launch adoption.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate and document technical concepts, requirements, risks, decisions, and delivery status for business stakeholders, developers, and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with technical teams on application design, data processing solution development, implementation planning, performance considerations, debugging, operational readiness, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience with data-driven platforms, application ecosystems, cloud services, integration patterns, or related technical environments.
- Experience delivering data-intensive financial products, credit risk solutions, consumer reporting systems, scorecards, predictive models, or alternative data products.
- Knowledge of FCRA, consumer reporting regulations, permissible purpose requirements, and model governance practices
- Experience in the financial services, insurance, and/or banking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven ability to work effectively across complex, matrixed environments.

- SAFe PO/PM certification, CSPO or related product management certification
- Experience with cloud services in GCP or AWS
