Technical Product Manager – Telco BSS Transformation & TaaS

Job Brief:
The Technical Product Manager owns product requirements and rollout for the company's Telco BSS  Transformation and TaaS (Telecom-as-a-Service) programs. The role sits at the intersection of business  operations and the architecture/engineering teams, turning cross-functional operational needs into  build-ready requirements and carrying them through to a well-sequenced, well-tested rollout across  markets and brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements & documentation — author PRDs, SRS/BRDs, and detailed functional  specifications that translate business and operational needs into build-ready requirements for  engineering and architecture. 
• Operational process mapping — work across the different Telco stack systems member care,  commercial, technical, IVR, USSD, and digital channels to capture how the new platform needs  to support each function end-to-end. 
• Rollout planning — define and manage phased rollout plans across markets and brands,  coordinating migration, cutover, and go-live readiness. 
• Architecture collaboration — work closely with the architecture team to validate that  requirements are technically feasible and align with the target platform design. • Stakeholder management — align business, operations, and technical stakeholders on scope,  priorities, and timelines throughout the transformation program. 
• Testing support — work with QA to ensure requirements are testable and translate correctly  into UAT scenarios. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Business,  or a related field. 
• Min 3-5 years telecom industry experience is required, with hands-on exposure to BSS platforms  and telecom operations. 
• Strong understanding of operational processes across different functions: member care,  commercial, technical, IVR, USSD, and digital channels. 
• Proven experience writing PRDs, SRS/BRDs, and detailed requirements documentation.
• Experience with rollout and cutover planning for platform or system transformation programs.
• Able to work closely and technically with solution architects — understands system design,  integration points, and data flows well enough to validate feasibility.  
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus, to support LATAM market stakeholders. 
• Experience with Telecom-as-a-Service (TaaS) or MVNO enablement programs. 
• Experience across multi-brand, multi-market telecom environments (GCC and/or LATAM). 
• Familiarity with BSS/OSS vendor platforms (e.g., Amdocs, Netcracker, Comviva, Huawei BSS,  CSG) or Odoo-based platforms.
