Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Manager / Business Analyst to join our Client Onboarding Technology team based in Tokyo, Japan. This is a full-time, onsite position playing a pivotal role in bridging business requirements and technical delivery for our client onboarding platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on technical knowledge to drive efficient, scalable solutions.
Product management/business analysis
- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Conduct gap analyses between current-state and future-state processes within client onboarding workflows
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions with cross-functional teams
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Technical delivery
- Partner closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and clarity of requirements
- Review and validate front-end implementations, providing feedback on UI/UX alignment with business needs
- Familiarity with Oracle ADF and Angular would be a great addition
- Work with backend and database teams to design and validate data flows, including data mapping, query validation, and reporting requirements
- Familiarity with Oracle databases preferred
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), defect triage, and sign-off processes
- Maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and system integration specifications
Stakeholder management
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technology delivery team
- Prepare and present status reports, roadmaps, and project updates to senior management
- Coordinate with global teams across different time zones to ensure seamless delivery
