At TrueLayer, we're creating a payments network that better connects banks, businesses and everybody. And we're going big. We're taking on cards with a payment method that's actually designed for the online, on-demand world we live in. Removing friction from the most crucial part of commerce: the payment.
To date, we've raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We've got offices in London, Milan and Dublin. And we're trusted by industry leaders like Coinbase, Revolut and William Hill… though we're not stopping here.
We're on a mission to change the way the world pays, invests, shops and saves. To transform how people approach payments. To build a brand that redefines an entire industry - and we'd like your help to get us there. So what do you say?
Description
At TrueLayer, we want the financial system to work for everyone - so we've made it our mission to open up access and put fintech at people's fingertips.
We're looking for people with a technical mindset who enjoy learning new things and working with others to solve complex customer problems. You'll be at the heart of financial innovation, using industry-disrupting technologies like open banking to revolutionise online payments, and enable financial data to be integrated into any app or website.
Working at a rapidly growing fintech, you'll encounter new and exciting challenges as we scale our products and infrastructure to meet the demands of our customers and expand our ecosystem to open up new possibilities.
In addition to working with modern development frameworks and cloud technologies, we are committed to aiding you to develop new skills and advance in your career. Whether you want to continue to grow your technical expertise or move into product, we have clear and tangible paths for everyone, irrespective of your level of experience, role or discipline.
Our challenges
We're seeking a Technical Operations Analyst who can handle the technical and operational aspects of our banking integrations, coordinate critical communications, and ensure the reliability of our services.
This role will involve close collaboration with our engineering and client operations teams to triage and prioritise the resolution of technical issues, handle non-breaking updates, and manage bank registrations across Europe and the UK.
This role requires a high level of organisation, technical knowledge, and effective communication skills to keep our integrations seamless and address client needs promptly. Each interaction is an opportunity to enhance our current processes and contribute to a best-in-class fintech support experience.
- Triage non-breaking changes by testing integrations, confirming stability, and escalating for further investigation if required.
- Ability to analyse logs to better characterise client issues and determine workarounds
- Support with client onboarding and ensuring bank configurations are up to date
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve root causes of issues, prioritise improvements, and advocate for client needs.
- Lead on the process for certificate rotations and handle bank registrations across UK & Europe
- Play an essential role in our incident response. Support the Incident Lead by taking ownership of investigation for the areas of our platform under your responsibility
About you:
- Experience with HTTP requests, RESTful APIs, and JSON/YAML
- Technical issue troubleshooting experience
- Good writing and speaking skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge
- An ability to prioritise your tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
We'd be particularly excited if you have:
- A technical background with a programming language, preferably C#, TypeScript, or Rust
- Experience with logging/analytics/monitoring systems (Kibana/Grafana/Honeycomb)
- AWS, QuickSight, RedShift knowledge
Don't meet all the requirements?
Multiple studies have shown that women and people of underrepresented groups are sometimes less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement. At Truelayer, we are committed to building a diverse workforce, so if you are excited about this role and have the essential skills, but not the entire checklist - we'd still love to hear from you!
