We have an immediate need for a Technical Operations Manager. In this role, you will be directly supporting the warfighter in supporting the DoD’s High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP).
Must hold an active in scope Secret clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)
This position is 100% remote
Leading a multi-discipline team with the DoD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP).
This team is responsible for providing user support, developing and maintaining program web sites, data analysis and visualization, database administration and development, system administration, and HPC software management.
Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for all cross-center functions.
Has daily communication with senior HPCMP government staff setting priorities, understanding gaps, and ensuring the technical team is meeting the center’s needs.
Ensures all deliverables are met and are of the highest quality.
Maintaining and reporting the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the cross-center team
Assess/measure current values for all applicable KPIs
Work with customer counterpart to ensure consistent interpretation of results
Publish the values in a monthly report
Develop and implement key technology innovations across the program
Identify critical innovations and opportunities to improve services provided to the HPCMP users
Develop Project plans for implementing these innovations
Manage project team to ensure successful completion
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS and 5 years prior relevant experience or master’s with 3 years prior relevant experience
Experience supervising or leading cross functional teams or projects
Experience working with a large scale, highly technical customer base
Experience with Linux
Experience managing a geographically distributed team
Must hold an active in scope Secret clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)

Experience with HPC queueing and scheduling systems
Experience leading people or projects on a DoD program
