The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Operations Engineer to join our technical operations team and be a part of building an impacting team, handle complex technical issues and ensure service reliability for our customers’ production environments.

As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring our SaaS solutions hosted in the cloud, primarily on AWS. You will work closely with the Customer Experience and Research & Development (R&D) teams to optimize processes, improve product quality, and effectively manage escalations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in cloud environments and a passion for delivering high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of our SaaS solution
  • Respond to various technical issues in real-time to ensure production system health
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience and R&D teams to streamline processes and enhance overall product quality
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize incoming tasks
  • Respond to and handle escalations from customers or internal teams efficiently and effectively
  • Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting in a cloud environment
  • Continuously identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge
  • Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Technical Operations or NOC Engineer role in a SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and best practices for monitoring cloud-based applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and learning
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Dockers/Kubernetes
  • AWS practitioner certificate is an advantage
  • Familiarity with automation concepts is an advantage
  • Experience with Cyber security companies is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage
